Main Tasks

  • Planning, monitoring, and coordinating all psychological and social programs within the college.
  • Preparing the annual plan for educational and psychological counseling and implementing its programs.
  • Assigning a counselor for each academic stage and supervising the counseling section in student housing.
  • Designating a space as a psychological clinic for students and staff.
  • Organizing seminars and lectures for faculty on developmental stages and student needs.
  • Conducting psychological, behavioral, and educational tests using approved models.
  • Identifying psychological and behavioral issues and providing appropriate counseling support.
  • Designing individualized care plans and monitoring their implementation.
  • Helping new students adapt and integrate into the university environment.
  • Following up on psychological cases in coordination with specialized institutions.
  • Providing individual counseling to students facing minor behavioral or psychological challenges.
  • Monitoring academic performance and frequent absences in coordination with the Registration Unit.
  • Fostering student personality development and equipping them with essential coping skills.
  • Organizing seminars and lectures aimed at awareness and prevention.
  • Utilizing university activities to develop students’ abilities and identify career orientations.
  • Ensuring confidentiality of information shared by students with counselors.
  • Helping students with self-discovery and understanding their social environment.
  • Developing students’ decision-making and life-planning skills.
  • Assisting students in adapting to unexpected changes and challenges.
  • Providing advisory services to the administrative and academic staff regarding student behavior.
