Legal Oversight and Ensuring Justice in the Academic Environment
The Legal Affairs Division is responsible for overseeing all legal aspects within the college, providing legal supervision over academic and administrative operations in accordance with the laws and regulations of Iraq, particularly those related to staff and student discipline. It serves as both an advisory and executive body, safeguarding the institution’s rights and representing it before competent judicial authorities.
Legal Representation
Representing the college before courts and judicial authorities in various cases.
Investigative Committees
Active participation in investigative committees formed within the college or by the university presidency.
Legal Consultation
Providing legal opinions on matters referred by the Dean and other units.
Student Discipline
Supervising the enforcement of student discipline regulations under university laws.
Contract Review
Reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal matters related to loans and advances.
Case Follow-up
Coordinating with security and judicial authorities on cases filed by or against the college.
Reports & Memos
Drafting legal reports and memos submitted to higher authorities as required.
Through its wide-ranging responsibilities, the Legal Affairs Division seeks to maintain balance between rights and obligations, fostering a transparent legal environment that respects regulations and ensures orderly, just operations across the college.
